Helped Clients to Succeed in their Objectives

  • Several client's have met objectives with new home or remodel designs and complete or extensive upgrades to electrical and mechanical systems and plumbing, and brilliant interior finishes in 2004-5.
  • Arrow Woods Builders in 2003 built a $500,000 residence in a rural setting using ICF walk out basement, and SIP upper floor, which incorporated 19 corners and 20 steps in the foundation. Starting with footings, we built to lock up, and cut and fit all the SIPs on site in eight days.
  • Chinook Studio of Music opened in 2002 with five insulated teaching rooms.
  • Stu Wheeler and family built West Bow Lodge, an eight suite facility 1 hour east of Calgary on the Bow River requiring we supply a solar thermal energy system which saves expensive propane.
  • Sol Candel of the Movie Poster Shop on 112 - 16th Avenue NW in 2001 commissioned a 1960's commercial building with a new lease on life: $330,000 energy efficient retrofit, interior and exterior renovations, active solar thermal heating and ventilation. Saves incredible energy costs.
  • ABE Homes, Inc. was able to finish a partially completed urban ten unit apartment condominium, Elboya House, in 2000, putting building code issues to rest and easily selling the units.
  • Global Housing Solutions, Inc. (Gordon Laing) - created a concrete low cost housing system in 1998 - 9 with the help of a precision model in 1/4 scale showing engineering and structural details.
  • Albany Manufacturing Corporation (Mariyan Trnski) was developing a Structural Insulating Panel (SIP) prototype in 1994 for local and export markets. The company has now produced over 200 units.
  • Design/Build for a Crescent Heights East family in 1991 evolved into a stunning and unique passive solar home in Calgary with highly insulated passive solar, 2 story rammed earth wall, solarium, EFIS.
  • Clothing boutique Ooh La La, features a white concrete marble slab floor, nickel plated racks projecting from walls, illuminated glass box shelving and a sleek, modern finish.
  • Starting with an antique set of buildings on 17th Avenue SW Calgary in 1988, and finishing with a new tree-lined courtyard, two dining areas and new kitchens created the restaurant Cilantro.
  • The Calgary Waldorf School fulfilled low budget expansions within its building in 1992 by directing an extensive volunteer effort which added two classrooms, more office space, two kinder houses.
